About Mission trips with Canterbury
Mission trips at Canterbury offer a transformative opportunity to visit communities and share the love of Christ. On a mission trip, members will work in communities under the guidance of local leaders committed to changing their future while growing as a mission team. We encourage members who want to challenge themselves and refresh their perspective to take part in one of our mission trips. Get started by checking out these upcoming opportunities.
Look and See Mission Trip
July 17-20, 2017
This is what we call a “Look and See” trip, which is meant to survey mission opportunities, develop a relationship with a new country, and find a way to meet both the needs of the community and the passion of our church. In addition to speaking to local servant-leaders in Cap Haitian, look forward to visiting a peanut factory, a hospital, a microfinance lending group, a school, and a medical clinic.
Medical Mission Trip
March 10-17, 2018
Serving the poorest of the poor in Panamá, our team will provide medical care to a community clinic in Cienaguita. We need doctors, dentists, nurses, physical therapists, pharmacists, occupational therapists, and med or pre-med students. If you are not a medical professional but still have a heart for helping the hurting in a busy clinic, we hope you will join us, too.
Spring Break Family Mission Trip
March 24-31, 2018
