PRAY

God, show me your light and grace.

Be calm & focus on God’s presence.
Settle your heart, mind and body.
Focus on God’s proximity to you.

As you sit in silence, focus on God’s deep and abiding love for you.
Try to become aware of God’s presence in an attentive way.
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you recall your day with love and to let you look on all you see with love.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

READ

Luke 15:8-10

“Or what woman, if she owns ten silver coins and loses one of them, won’t light a lamp and sweep the house, searching her home carefully until she finds it? 9  When she finds it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Celebrate with me because I’ve found my lost coin.’ 10  In the same way, I tell you, joy breaks out in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who changes both heart and life.”

Reflection:

Reflect on a time when you felt lost. What or who helped you feel found? Who are the people who feel lost in your life? How might you help them feel found?

THANK

God, thank you for your gifts.

Now remember the small pleasures of the last day; things like a good night’s sleep, a good conversation, the smell of morning coffee, the laugh of a child.
