Children

welcome to children's ministry

We are so happy to welcome you and your child to Canterbury! As United Methodists, we believe that children are important members of the family of God and are deserving of our best efforts in ministry. Our prayer is that the bonds of faith that begin in early childhood will lead to an eternal relationship with God and His church. Our mission is, with God’s help, to welcome, nurture, and equip all children according to the United Methodist tradition so that they may choose to follow Jesus and serve others.

Spiritual Roadmap and Calendar

The focus of Canterbury’s Children and Student Ministries is to create a spiritual learning environment that will support our children so that by the time they graduate from high school or college, they will be fully equipped for faithful living as disciples of Jesus Christ and empowered to fulfill His call to “Love Your Neighbor.”
