Our Mission, Vision and Values
By focusing on Canterbury’s vision and mission, we will behave in ways consistent with our values
and will move forward in our journey.
We will use those values and behaviors to evaluate our ministry and ourselves.
We offer all we are and all we have to the glory of God.
A Christ-centered, life-building church
To be a welcoming Christian community building lives of faith and service for Jesus Christ through life-transforming worship, learning and service
The Biblically grounded values of Canterbury United Methodist Church serve as guidelines for practicing our faith and ministering to others. Our values affect our behavior and thinking and enable us to live out our vision and mission. We acknowledge our vision and mission are the destinations of our journey. By defining our values and acting in accordance with those values, we undertake and continue that journey.
