Our Mission, Vision and Values

By focusing on Canterbury’s vision and mission, we will behave in ways consistent with our values
and will move forward in our journey.

We will use those values and behaviors to evaluate our ministry and ourselves.
We offer all we are and all we have to the glory of God.

Our Values

The Biblically grounded values of Canterbury United Methodist Church serve as guidelines for practicing our faith and ministering to others. Our values affect our behavior and thinking and enable us to live out our vision and mission. We acknowledge our vision and mission are the destinations of our journey. By defining our values and acting in accordance with those values, we undertake and continue that journey.
