A careful study of three of the outstanding theologians of the 20th century who are still having an impact on theological and even political thought in America today. Dr. Bill Morgan will introduce the class to the thought of Richard Niebuhr in three sessions. Dr. Dennis Sansom, Chair of the Philosophy Dept. at Samford University, will focus on Reinhold Niebuhr for five sessions; and Dr. David Bains, Professor of Religion at Samford, will lead three sessions on Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s influence on how we understand the meaning of Discipleship in difficult times.
