Canterbury Friends & Family,
Whether you walk through the doors of Canterbury or come in by the window of your computer screen – welcome. We are glad to be with you. Like you, we at Canterbury are seeking and searching - for strength, for hope, for meaning-through a relationship with God, who can provide all of this for us.
We hope that at Canterbury, you will find what your hearts is looking for in God’s love shown for us in Jesus Christ.
Our mission is to be a Christ-centered, life-building church. We live this out through life-transforming worship, study, and hands-on service to others. Canterbury is a church of “inreach” care for one another and “outreach” service to others.
A few years ago, I tried to put into one sentence my basic faith as a Christian, a sort of personal Apostles’ Creed. This is what I came up with:
God’s grace is Jesus Christ giving us the power and pattern
to live with joy, to serve with love, and to die with hope.
So, whether by church door or computer window, come on in.
